Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) returned to TV screens with Season 5 of "Emily in Paris," taking viewers on a whimsical Italian adventure through the cobbled streets of Rome as she started a new chapter as head of Agence Grateau Rome with her new love interest Marcello Muratori (Eugenio Franceschini).
However, life, even in Emily's case, hardly goes according to plan and our resident American in Europe finds herself back in Paris by the end of the season after facing a string of "professional and romantic challenges."
Though Emily spends most of the season in a relationship with Marcello, the two part ways in the finale because he has to run his family business from Italy, and she doesn’t want to abandon the life she’s built in Paris.

Agence Grateau, meanwhile, was saved from being closed due to bankruptcy after Sylvie's (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) friend Princess Jane (Minnie Driver) bails them out, signaling a new era for the marketing agency and its staff.

Will 'Emily in Paris' return for Season 6?
Netflix has not yet announced if "Emily in Paris" will return for Season 6. However, the Season 5 finale ended with multiple possibilities for the series future, including a new European destination: Greece.
At the end of Season 5, Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), who had left his Michelin-star rated restaurant to work on a yacht as a private chef, invites a newly single Emily to spend time with him in Greece, where he will be docked next and has time off, hinting the fan-favorite couple may just be getting back together. However, Collins says she doesn’t let her mind drift to whether the two are endgame.
“I just like thinking in terms of do we get to go to another season, to be honest,” Collins told USA TODAY. “I just really appreciated how Emily got to make choices for herself, and you really see that she's OK with those choices.”
“In terms of her romance,” she adds, series creator Darren Star “keeps writing things that we're so shocked about. So, we have no idea.”
It's not only Emily's track that's left on a cliffhanger. Mindy (Ashley Park) also finds herself on a romantic crossroad despite getting engaged to Nico (Paul Forman).

When will 'Emily in Paris' Season 6 release?
Given that Netflix has yet to renew "Emily in Paris" for Season 6, a release date for a new season is not yet known. Based on past trends, it is likely that the new season will be released in the latter half of the year. Here's a look at previous release dates:
