Manon Bannerman Joins PinkPantheress’ Coachella Set After Skipping Katseye Performance Amid Hiatus

Manon Bannerman has made her Coachella debut — but not with Katseye.

The Swiss singer, 23, joined fellow artist PinkPanthress on the Mojave stage at Coachella 2026 on Saturday, April 18. Janelle Monae, Tyriq Withers, Chase Infiniti, Slayyyter and Zara Larsson also joined the star-studded set.

PinkPanthress, 25, sported a custom PINK Wink Bra for the performance, featuring a bespoke tartan pattern with blue lace detailing and hand-embellished black, blue and red crystals. The “Stateside” singer’s backup dancers also wore commercial PINK pieces, including the Relaxed Rib Boyfriend Tank Top, Wear Everywhere Push-Up Bra and Ruffle Bloomer Panty.

Manon’s appearance with PinkPanthress comes after she skipped both of Katseye’s Coachella performances on April 10 and Friday, April 17.

Back in February, Katseye — which also consists of members Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza and Yoonchae Jeung — announced that Manon would be taking a break from the band.

“After open and thoughtful conversations together, we are sharing that Manon will be taking a temporary hiatus from group activities to focus on her health and wellbeing,” a statement from the group read on the social media platform Weverse. “We fully support this decision. KATSEYE remains committed to showing up for one another and for the fans who mean everything to us. The group will continue scheduled activities during this time, and we look forward to being together again when the time is right.”

Shortly after the announcement, Manon reassured fans that she was “OK” in her own post on Weverse.

“Hi friends,” she wrote. “I want you to hear this from me, I’m healthy, I’m OK and I’m taking care of myself. Thank u for checking in! Sometimes things unfold in ways we don’t fully control, but I’m trusting the bigger picture. Thank you for standing by me. I love you endlessly and can’t wait to see you again.”

In a follow-up message, Manon added, “Thank you so much for all the love and support you’ve been sending my way. I’m really grateful for the patience and kindness everyone has shown during this time. [Katseye’s management] HxG and I are having positive conversations, and I feel supported. I’m happy, and I’m healthy. I’ll share more soon. Thank you for always being there for me.”

Eagle-eyed fans noticed earlier this month that Manon had removed “Katseye” from her Instagram bio. A source exclusively told Us Weekly at the time that the singer is not planning to return to the girl group. (Us reached out to Manon and a rep for Katseye for comment.)

Katseye was formed through Hybe and Geffen Records’ 2023 reality competition series Dream Academy. The group is known for their breakthrough single, “Touch,” and their hit “Gabriela.” Katseye was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2026 Grammys in February.
