Emma Heming Willis is celebrating a milestone moment with the love of her life.

In a post to social media on Tuesday, Dec. 30, the 47-year-old British model and actress let her followers know it’s been nearly 20 decades since she and her husband Bruce Willis made it official.

Her single photo Instagram post was captioned, “18 years ago, he became my boyfriend. With one kiss on the top of my head, time stood still.”

“I’m so lucky to know this kind of love,” she added.

Heming Willis, who married the Sixth Sense star, 70, in 2009, uploaded a picture of the longtime couple sitting together at what appeared to be a dinner table with a glass in front of them.

She smiled and looked off into the distance as Willis planted a kiss on her cheek.

The Pulp Fiction actor shares two daughters with Heming Willis: Mabel Ray Willis, whom they welcomed in April 2012, and Evelyn Penn Willis, who was born in May 2014.

Willis is also a dad to daughters Rumer Glenn Willis, 37, Scout LaRue Willis, 34, and Tallulah Belle Willis, 31, from his previous marriage to Demi Moore. The former couple were married from 1987 until 2000.

In September, Heming Willis spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about her and Willis’ longtime love story and how it began with her joining him, his ex-wife and their kids on a 2007 vacation to Turks and Caicos.

"I got to see this other side of Bruce, who was a family man," Heming Willis told PEOPLE. "On that trip, I ended up falling for him really hard. That was the start of our love story."

She also looked back on their “busy” life, which she described as “full and fun.”

Whenever Willis wasn’t filming the next Hollywood blockbuster, the A-list star would always make time for his kids.

"If the girls were swimming in the pool, he would come home, dive in with his clothes on just to get a laugh. He's the iconic girl dad,” Heming Willis added of her spouse.

Ahead of the holiday season, Heming Willis also spoke to PEOPLE about what life has been like for their family since she revealed he was diagnosed with the degenerative disease frontotemporal dementia (FTD) in February 2023.

“It's joyous. It's just different,” the model-actress-author told PEOPLE exclusively at the End Well 2025 conference in Los Angeles on Nov. 20. “Bruce loved Christmas and we love celebrating it with him. It just looks different, so we've kind of adapted to that.”

“I think it's important to put Die Hard on because it's a Christmas movie,” Heming Willis joked of his 1988 classic.

“You have to learn and adapt and make new memories, bring in the same traditions that you had before,” she said. “Life goes on. It just goes on. Dementia is hard, but there is still joy in it. I think it's important that we don't paint such a negative picture around dementia. We are still laughing. There is still joy. It just looks different.”
